Also have a look at the months of the year game.
Here are the symbols used in the song:
Ichi ga tsu - January : New Year's Decoration.
Ni ga tsu - February: Setsubun Festival (you throw beans at people dressed
as devils!)
San ga tsu - March: Dolls Festival
Shi ga tsu: April - Back to school under the cherry blossom.
Go ga tsu - May: Boys' Day
Ro ku ga tsu - June: The Rainy Season!
Shi chi ga tsu - July: Summer time and a national holiday for "Sea
Day"
Ha chi ga tsu - August: Festival Time
Ku ga tsu - September: Moon Festival, you eat mochi rice cakes that the
rabbits who live on the moon (yes, really) have made.
Jyu ga tsu - October: Nothing really happens this month so you see Halloween
decorations everywhere.
Jyu i chi ga tsu - November: Autumn Leaves, very popular around Kyoto.
Jyu ni ga tsu - December: Christmas decorations cover the landscape, only
to be taken down on the 25th.
