New Phonics Stories Covers ( + updates!)

Carolyn very kindly wrote in to remind me that we didn’t have covers for all the VIPย phonics poster stories. ย  ย So I just added these in now …….

ย genkiphonicsstories4genkiphonicsstories3genkiphonicsstories2genkiphonicsstoriesย

As before, these are at the end of the VIPย Genki Phonics Postersย file. ย The actual stories themselves, however, are after the appropriate phoneme e.g. the “c” story is after the “c” page.

Plus a few more updates:

  • New superhero gesture for “s”
  • The “Read & Review” section only goes to the previous phoneme (hopefully this will solve a few misunderstandings in the reviews!)
  • Higher picture quality (it looks great on the iPad Pro!)
  • Duplicate funky words removed (e.g. “don’t” appeared in two stories, now it is just in one)

As always with changes like this there is always the possibility that some other bugs cropped up which weren’t there before, so be sure to let me know in the comments if you found any problems!

Be genki,

Richard

P.S. ย And as you’ve read down this far to the PS it shows you’re a very Genki teacher and very much into Genki Phonics. ย So ….. as part of the Xprize applicationย ย we’re working on a special, never before seen, Genki Phonics iOS app. ย  If you’d like to help us beta test the app, do let me know in the comments! ๐Ÿ™‚

Richard Graham

Hello, I'm Richard Graham. When I was a kid I found school to be sooooo boring... So I transformed my way of teaching. I listened to what the kids were really wanting to say and taught it in ways they really wanted to learn. The results were magical. Now I help teachers just like you teach amazing lessons and double your incomes!

Ricahrd, I would love to take a look at this.

Sorry for the long silence. I am in the process of writing an e-mail to you, but here is the short version for the blog readers!
I recently attended a national workshop in Japan for public elementary school teachers. I saw demo English classes and a few curricula for 1-6 year as well. Although the students were engaged and teachers were doing their best to speak in English, they really didn’t compare to Genki English.
Even without the top MEXT advisors, GE students seem to be able to do more with less work and more fun for the teachers!
Thanks for all that you do!
