πŸ“š Can I use Genki English to add to a textbook or course book?

As you may have noticed I do go on a bit about why I don’t like textbooks. πŸ™‚

But what if you have to teach a textbook or have found one that you really love? Β ( I have actually found one or two that are quite good over the years!)

Can you still use Genki English with that textbook or course book?

And the answer is, of course, yes.

Although Genki English is a complete course where you don’t actually need anything else, Β if you already have something in place then you can very simply slot the Teacher’s Set materials alongside what you are teaching. And you’ll still get many of the Genki benefits such as the extra motivation, better pronunciation, better grammar, better understanding and more smiles, plus of course saving you all that prep time.

For example the sounds, the pronunciation of the words plus the songs and computer games & class games be used to liven up any textbook.

Just choose the nearest Genki English lesson to the chapter in your book.

And all the positive language and Genki mindset can be used too to spice up & turn around less interesting course book examples.

Usually most teachers end up adding more and more Genki English each year and eventually give up on the textbooks as they slow things down.

But to get started, Β or if you want to spice up a textbook you have to teach, Β then try adding in Genki English. Β The extra investment will soon pay many dividends in smiles with the kids, Β the results in tests plus of course the priceless gift of knowing that you have a whole curriculum of tried, tested and proven, not to mention Harvard Researched, Β ideas all ready to go i.e. no more frantically searching on google or youtube for ideas!

Give it a try and see you how go!

I’m sure you and your students are going to love it! Β Β Check out more here & Enjoy! πŸ™‚Β

Richard Graham

Hello, I'm Richard Graham. And when I was a kid I found school to be sooooo boring... So I transformed my way of teaching. I listened to what the kids were really wanting to say and taught it in ways they really wanted to learn. The results were magical. So I'm sharing it all with you now...
