Christmas Colours Cards

Now that Halloween is out of the way, it’s time for some new Christmas materials. First off we have some super cute Baby Monkey pictures to go with the “What colour is Christmas song?

What do you think?

Richard Graham

Hello, I'm Richard Graham. When I was a kid I found school to be sooooo boring... So I transformed my way of teaching. I listened to what the kids were really wanting to say and taught it in ways they really wanted to learn. The results were magical. Now I help teachers just like you teach amazing lessons and double your incomes!

They are really cute! The A4 card for the word ‘white’ is a little hard to see. The background could be a shade darker, but maybe it’s just me. I haven’t printed them out yet though….

I’m so glad you used Baby Monkey. Baby is becoming quite the star!

Since my big computer died, I haven’t been able to find an A4 Baby Monkey in bw…. I don’t have my scanner in service either to blow up a mini card. Richard do you have a link for it? Or was it Gaz that did it? I can’t find it on the forum either… but maybe I missed it. I just have to get going on making my real baby monkey! Thanks

I love them. Thanks for your work.

These are all great, as usual. My students cannot wait to get to them in their workbooks!!

Richard _ Is there anyway of having the backgrounds, from the CD10 graphics, as flashcards? It is not always possible for me to use my computer so I would really like these backgrounds to print out.

Carol – I have the PDF files for the whole family, from Gaz, in black and white. If you want me to send them pm me with your email. I also have a great finger puppet monkey template, which I used for my Farmer Monkey video.

Richard – I also wanted to ask you if there will be dice for the christmas themes?? I think it would work well to have a snowman game where maybe the sun comes out and the snowman melts, like the dog in pesky dog game?!? I would also like the children to build a gingerbread house, using a dice too, not sure how that could all disappear, maybe a hungry child!?!? The parts of the houses and snowman could all be on a couple of sheets together to print out like the skeleton parts were?? I know there are already 8 words so maybe this might not be such a good idea?? or maybe two objects could be on one side of the dice??

Should be have dice and all the other worksheets over the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye out for the Gingerbread house disappearing … now who could possible want to eat it?

CD10 backgrounds? Which ones are they?

    Richard,

talking about Gingerbread house for me it ‘s of course Haensel and Gretel who want to eat it. For GE could it maybe be a Baby Monkey in blue diapers and one Baby Monkey in pink diapers who got lost in the woods?
    How cute!!!

Yumiko had a cute idea on her website:

    Cookie Monster!

I love the video of this song! I can’t wait to use it. Just one comment about the cards. Could you perhaps make the blue Baby Monkey smiling?

As for already having 8 cards, you can always ask your students to decide which card will be the Hansel/Cookie Monster/Hungry.

CD10 Backgrounds – I actually mean the ones that appear as the song plays through. They are so colourful and look cute with BM and all the decorations. With the colour word on too would be perfect.

Of course BM should eat the Gingerbread house!!

One of my students mentioned BM in the blue picture too. I said that when it is so cold she should put on her coat, hat, scarf, boots etc. just like she should too! Then no one is sad and cold!
