Richard Graham

Hello, I'm Richard Graham. When I was a kid I found school to be sooooo boring... So I transformed my way of teaching. I listened to what the kids were really wanting to say and taught it in ways they really wanted to learn. The results were magical. Now I help teachers just like you teach amazing lessons and double your incomes!

I`m new here, so am not sure if this has been posted before or if ever you thought about “name tags” for class? its not a big deal, but for private schools a teacher who has freedom could make Genki english tags for kids to put on as they enter the door, nice way to get them to introduce themselves, they could choose characters such as baby monkey, or super hero dude. I drew an example. However i will have to upload it, perhaps attach to a mail. Its a picture of baby monkey holding a banner over his head with “My name is blah blah blah”

I am planning on opening my school soon and was thinking about introducing many new things to my class (privately owned) i was thinking about making a souvenir corner, with bits and bobs from my country, from snacks to stationary and more. With that i hope to make a revision type lesson once a month and it can be a great chance to revise and introduce some simple competitions such as the most funniest, or smartest “imagination sheet” competition, or just having groups and reviewing with games, i want to make sure each group has a chance to win, so that everyone can go home with something, so perhaps putting numbers on the souvenirs and the kids who win have to pick a paper from a bag or something. It is a little investment each month, but it sure sounds like it can spice up an English school. is this a bad idea folks, cos am very inexperienced.

Both great ideas! You might also want to have a look at the passports, http://genkienglish.net/Passport.htm They’re great for letting kids “save up” for souvenirs!

And do please send me an email of the nametag!
