Halloween Apple Bobbing Song

The main Happy Halloween song has been a huge hit with teachers and kids. But of course if you use it every year then it gets a little too easy. So over on the forum last week we had a request for some new Halloween songs. Ever pleased to oblige, and thanks to a visit to Universal Studios last Thursday, I’ve written two for you!

The first one is a little darker and more scary and will hopefully be finished soon. So the other one I deliberately made silly and fun and it’s simply the rules of how to play Apple Bobbing! Needless to say the chorus sticks in your head all day.

What do you think? Please write your comments below, who knows, if you write lots of nice things it might motivate me to get the other Halloween song finished a little quicker. It is sounding very scary! πŸ˜‰

There are also mini cards and A4 cards as well as an mp3 available on the Halloween Apple Bobbing page.

Be genki,

Richard

P.S. Also thanks to everyone for all the comments last month. The competition winner for September, chosen at random from the 110 comments was ……. me. So I re drew it and this time it was cj. Congratulations, I’ll be in touch soon for you to choose your free CD, either a current or future one!
The competition is reset again from today, so everyone get commenting and you might win October’s prize which is again a free Genki English CD of your choice.

Richard Graham

Hello, I'm Richard Graham. When I was a kid I found school to be sooooo boring... So I transformed my way of teaching. I listened to what the kids were really wanting to say and taught it in ways they really wanted to learn. The results were magical. Now I help teachers just like you teach amazing lessons and double your incomes!

Thanks for all the Youtube comments! I wasn’t sure you would all like it, so it’s great to hear.

Over on the forum Carol also suggested adding more of a melody to the chorus. Any thoughts?

I have already commented on the forum, however I also wanted to comment here too. The song is wonderful and the animation, picture cards, flashcards on the members site are fantastic. What a wonderful resource for the members to have in time for Halloween. It is also great that Richard creates so much, so quickly when members make requests in the forum for resources. Being a member of the CD owners club gives you so much in return! Thanks Richard!!

    Happy Halloween

Last year I discovered your site and I have been using your games, activities, and ideas in my classes for kids 4 to 10. Every time I need a bit of inspiration and confidence I check genkienglish. We teachers need someone to tell us “Hey, it’s easy, you can do it – it’s no problem.” That’s what you do. I really like your newsletters. Thanks a lot.
