It’s funny that I started Genki English full time 25 years ago this month.     And for most of that time it’s been mostly teachers using the site.  Which is cool.

But … I’ve been really surprised this month that nearly all the visitors have been students.   I guess it’s not too surprising after Genki English got 20 Million views on Tik Tok ( & 90 Million on Youtube!)   but I was quite surprised how many there are!  So, welcome everyone!

I’ve just redesigned the site to be for learners first.    As a teacher you can still use the VIP menu at the top of the site to get all your favorite teaching contents – to make you the best teacher in town – but the main focus of the site now is for students.    I hope that’s OK!   And if you are a student joining us today, welcome and enjoy!
