Learn 1000 words of English – vol. S!

When you see how many English words begin with an “S” you can certainly see why “s” is the first sound we learn in the Genki Phonics course!

This week I’m having LOTS of people writing in asking for help with high school English,  so I just uploaded the latest “S” volume in the “Learn 1000 words of English” Youtube playlist.

We took the most common 1,000 words used in exams around the world and put them together into this “cram” list that students can play around and around till they get them stuck in their heads for the tests.   There are several ways to use this:

  1. Play the video and guess the meaning of each word.
  2. Play the video until you know the next word – every time!
  3. Play it whilst you sleep ( yep, it works during the period when you are half asleep and half awake – just think of that song you heard on the radio this morning!)

And of course these are purely for kids who have to cram vocab for exams.

To learn how to actually speak English then that is the regular Genki English curriculum and the Teacher’s Set!

Do let me know if you find these useful,

Be genki,

Richard

P.S.  The “Back to School” installment plan offer on the Teacher’s Set finishes at midnight on September 30th.  So be sure to get your order in before then if you haven’t already!
