New Genki Picture Book! Hamster Monster & Monkey Mummy – What do you want to be for Halloween?

There’s a new picture book for you today!!! Hamster Monster & Monkey Mummy – What do you want to be for Halloween?

And of course it’s got to be FUN!! Β (When I had my first 12 hardback Picture Books published I was put through a crash course with all the top picture book writers, editors and producers in Tokyo – it’s quite amazing all the work that goes into making something simple!)

Plus just like all the other Genki English Picture Books, it’s written so kids can understand the book after just 2 or 3 Genki English lessons. Β  For example today’s book can be done after just doing the What do you want to be for Halloween? lesson, Under the Sea lesson and the Do you have any pets? lesson from the Genki English curriculum.

Needless to say this is a HUGE motivator!

Ninja Tip: Β I’ll have a post about doing a non-linear curriculum and “curricula threads” next week!

Check out the video above to see how I read it and awesome VIP Members can download the PDF below!

Be genki,

Richard

P.S. Β  These are picture books so don’t try and make the kids “read” these! Β You are reading it to them and showing them the fun that we can have with language. Β It’s a reward! Β So don’t try and “examify” it by asking questions about what the characters are doing, Β what they can see, etc. etc. Β just get them to guess what characters they think are going to come next and enjoy the big smiles!

Richard Graham

Hello, I'm Richard Graham. When I was a kid I found school to be sooooo boring... So I transformed my way of teaching. I listened to what the kids were really wanting to say and taught it in ways they really wanted to learn. The results were magical. Now I help teachers just like you teach amazing lessons and double your incomes!

This release was a perfect timing for us since we have just finished “What do you want to be?”
And, it’s been a little while since we started phonics, so I’m sure my students will enjoy the rhymings too!
