UPDATE: Thank you for testing the new song everyone – it went down a storm with the kids! So check out the updates below!
Fanitsa asked if I could do a “What are these? / What are those?” song for the very popular Fruit Market lesson.
It took me a while but I added it as an extra “Song 2” on the Fruit Market software!
If your students are signed up to the homework program they can find it in the Fruit Market lesson (here’s a direct link)
If you’re a VIP Member here’s the update:
- Back everything up (because something will always go wrong somewhere!)
- Right click and download this file
- Save it into your Genki English software folder overwriting the existing file
And if you don’t have the Teacher’s Set yet, you can buy it here with all the updates included!
A couple of quick classroom games:
Be sure to do the the regular this/that fruits lesson plan first . Then try these games for the new these/those parts!
1. Put up a piece of paper over a flash card.
2. Slowly reveal parts of the image asking “What are these?”
3. Then a helper kid at the back does the same and you ask “What are those?”
4. Repeat from step 1 with the two fastest kids.
Or
Cover the walls with plural fruit cards.
Be genki,
Richard
P.S. If you want the lesson plan, printables etc. ( as well as to see how to do the dance with the amazing teachers in Tanzania!) check out the lesson plan page here!
P.P.S. If you have requests for other songs do let me know. Some might be a bit too hard to make, but some like this one I might be able to make for you 🙂
