One of the most important rules I teach in workshops is “Think like a kid”
If you were a kid sitting in this class, how & what would you love to learn?
It’s a really simple questions but it can have a HUGE impact on the results, and enjoyment, you get from the job!
P.S. And of course it doesn’t just apply to kids, if you’re teaching teens or adults or grannies, then ask yourself, or even better ask them, how and what they’d love to learn!
P.P.S. Also remember that kids & parents don’t want teachers that make excuses (exams, textbook, bosses etc.), they want teachers like you who truly make a difference!
