Vocab Lists
Here is a list of the language that I managed
to teach during my 3 years at Primary Schools
in Tamagawa, Ehime. Each class had
either 1 or 2 lessons per month. Not all
of the children learnt all the language,
but most of them learnt most of it!
The easiest language to teach is of course
nouns. However a more effective approach
is to teach useful question words and various
associated answers. This not only broadens
the kids' communication skils, it allows
them to choose the language they want to
learn and are not forced into a set series
of pre-determined answers.
You will also note that many of the categories
have Genki English Songs associated with them. The reason is that
using the songs is the quickest and most
effective way to teach, and review, the language
in the limited time available!
