Saturday 16/12

7am Should get up. Don't.

10am Get up. Get Richard's gear out of the car. I am heading back to Ehime but he is sticking around in Kyushu for a few more days.

Eat awesome breakfast at Judes. Farewell time. It feels strange - the tour is really over. Hugs goodbye from everyone. BIG hug from Staisha - hugs are rare in Japan so it pays to make the most of the ones that do exist. "See you in Thailand!" says Jen ( I am flying home via Bangkok) .

Zoom along the expressway back to Beppu. I am not sad - more relieved - but with the tour over there is a sense of something missing.

Can't wait to get to Uwa and chill out with the Mizunumas for a few days.

And then to Oz, to a hot, beach filled Christmas.

I'm going home.
