This theme combines one very popular topic, pets, but also the very useful "Do you have ...?" phrase.

The Animal Voices theme contains most of the classic animals, so here you can have a bit of fun introducing a few unusual ones. Just like the other themes, however, they've been specially chosen to have a mix of words the kids will know straight away, a couple they'll get pretty soon and a couple of challenging ones. It's just right for one 45 minute lesson!

Check out Virginie's awesome students at their end of year play!

Recommend Games

Most of the games on the site can be used to simply practise the animal names, but for older kids ( say above year 2 ) it's the "Do you have ...?" phrase that's the most useful. The Gokburi Game works great for big classes ( over 20 kids ) or you can use the mini-cards to the right and do the "Do you have a ...?" game.
