Some of the songs on CD3 ( such as "Good Morning", "When is your birthday?" and "How did you get here?") have been classics from the start. However a couple of the the songs have proved to be too tricky to teach in one lesson. So ever eager to help, here's a new "Easy to Teach" remix.

"What's sports do you play?" has been edited up to have a repeat of each line, so it's great to use as a warm up before you've even taught any of the vocab in the song. "I have a question" has been split into two songs to make it easier to teach in one lesson. And although the Heavy Metal version of "I'm thirsty" was a hit with older kids, it pretty much terrified younger ones, so there's now a more "child friendly" version on CD3. "Do you like...?" has also been remixed to nicely lead into CD5's food theme, plus there is a new "Do you like animals?" version that nicely leads into CD4's animals song.

And all the original tracks are still present in the new "Funky Bonus Tracks" section at the end of the CD. In total there's an hour of audio here!

But of course it's not only in a CD player where CD3 shines, simply pop the same CD3 into a PC or Mac and for each theme you'll have ...

Talking Words Page. Simply click the words or press the numbers 1 to 8 and hear each word pronounced. Each word is recorded with different people and different intonations to give the kids lots of fun listening experience. They are ideal for Japanese teachers who can't speak English, or for native English speakers to give the kids exposure to different voices - very important for the new English tests that have speakers from all over the World.

Talking Picture Cards: This is a brand new feature for CD 3 and CD6. Instead of simply moving over the written words and seeing the picture and sound appear, here you have all 8 of the vocab words on screen at once. You can still move over them to hear them pronounced, and it is a life saver for classroom games. Plus if you use a projector in class, you won't have to carry around all the heavy picture cards!

Learn the song with the illustrated "Mini Lesson", the teacher becomes the "director", the kids become the center stage stars! Perfect if you're no good at singing yourself.

Then the song complete with lyrics and illustrations. A fantastic way to liven up the lesson and get the words stuck in your head. And a great way for kids to practice even when you're not there.

All the themes also have funky games. These are great to use in the computer room, simply get a student pack of CDs and get the kids to race against each other! You could even use the games to "pre-teach" the new language to save more time for real practise with each other.

And to finish off you have the Karaoke Version of each song!

The music tracks will work fine on any CD player. Windows XP or Mac OSX is recommended for the software section. It should work fine on older machines, maybe just a little slower.
If your machine can handle the phonics quizzes on this site, then you should be OK!
