Harvard University Research on Genki English

ELT4Mafia just put on Facebook about the research side of ourΒ Africa project.

With such a glowing report from Harvard I’m thinking it will make it much easier for your schools to accept Genki English (and Genki Phonics!)

Our pre and post course testing data has been put through rigourous statistical analysis, and Emily from Harvard Graduate School of Education writes “Based on a variety of analyses, it has been confirmed that the ELT4Mafia program had a significant, positive and robust impact on students’ learning outcomes“.

Thank-you Emily for your very detailed feed-back and well done everyone that taught in the 2012 program.

The full ELT report (2012) will be out shortly.

Do you think it will help?

Richard Graham

Hello, I'm Richard Graham. When I was a kid I found school to be sooooo boring... So I transformed my way of teaching. I listened to what the kids were really wanting to say and taught it in ways they really wanted to learn. The results were magical. Now I help teachers just like you teach amazing lessons and double your incomes!

Good one! Unfortunately, a lot of research gets trapped in the jargon filled and indigestible world of academia and does not make it out into the practical world where it is needed. Also, there is often resistance to new ideas and discoveries from the education establishment, and individuals who are unwilling to change their habits and beliefs.

This is hopefully why this is such great news, we get all the practical help of Genki English but we can say it’s backed up by research from Harvard – hopefully the best of both worlds!

Totally agree with you Richard! And the fact that’s on facebook makes it more visible.
In addition, anyone who is using GENKI ENGLISH can testify that it really works!!!

Genki English is wonderful, that’s why my students keep saying they love the English classes… And I became a much more happier teacher with so many smiling kids in classes. Thank you GENKI ENGLISH!
