Do you think it`s a good idea to use these curriculum/lesson plans for an 18 year old?
Here’s my answer:
Hi Alicia,
Thank you for the email. This is a very good question!
The only situation this wouldn’t work is if you have a very large class of 18 year olds who really don’t want to be there. In that case you’d need to do something like the “Harry Potter Effect”
But for teaching a small group of Β (or individual) 18 year olds who maybe know a little English but don’t know how to use it then I would definitely use the GE curriculum. The main part of it isn’t the English as such, it’s how to use it i.e. the confidence, communication practice etc. This works really well for all ages, especially if you tell them something like “this is for kids, but I think you guys can do it” because it takes the pressure off. They’ll whizz through the curriculum like crazy, and will get very fluent very quickly!
Be genki,

yes it works my 18~ year old students likes these curriculum, the adults loves it just as much as the little ones.
The best money I spent in years was the one I spent for buying Genki English materials.
Of course it works with everybody. Doesn’t matter what their ages are.
Thank you Richard
