Funnily enough I heard people singing this in a dream….
Simply do the What’s your name? song as usual, but instead of everyone saying “My name is …” twice, have them say “My name is …” once and then “I live in …..” (use the town or local area name rather than countries.)
It works a treat and is a great intro into the Where do you live? lesson.
What do you think?
Dear Richard,
What kind of program should I have for preschool students, beginning to speak English? I am living in Mexico ( not a licensed teacher), but the preschool school want me to teach English to the preschoolers, and I really don´t want to let them down. I can´t seem to keep their interest, or get them to understand. Also, the school doesn´t have alot of materials. please help me! Thanks!!
Sincerely, Kimberly in Mexico

Hi Kimberly,
It sounds like the regular curriculum will be just perfect here, it will certainly get their interest! 🙂
