Ahhh…. we just get back after the Summer holidays (or Winter working in my case!) and what happens?
Yep, everyone starts asking me about Halloween ideas! 🙂
We now have a huge selection of full Halloween lessons, Halloween games, songs, stickers, masks, posters, everything you need over on the Genki Halloween page.
Haunted House song anyone? (For rooms of the house and the “who” question)
… funky stickers and badges ….
… or the creativity boosting imagination worksheets?
To get the best of both worlds, all the fun stuff *and* making great progress with their English, my advice is always to use the Halloween cool factor to spice up the regular English you’d normally have at this time of year ( colours, body parts, prepositions (under, on, in etc.), “What do you want to be?“, rooms of the house etc. ) rather than just basic Halloween vocab.
You’ll have lots of fun, the kids will love it and the parents will love seeing their kids get so excited whilst improving their English.
There’s no way you’d cover everything in one year, so pick your favourites and enjoy! 🙂
Yes, I was just about to ask that very same question!! 🙂
