If you want to use the Genki Phonics computer games offline I’ve just updated the Phonics Download Pack.
It’s just all the same great games, but for when you don’t have a net connection in class.
I’m also going to increase the price to $79 on Friday, but if you want to get it before then it’s just $29 (which is ridiculously cheap compared to other software packages!)
Genki Phonics Download Pack Order
And just to spice things up…. ย just till this Friday ( 26th August) I’m going to include the Genki Phonics Download Pack for free with the main Genki English Download Pack. ( Order using the link on the Download Pack page and you’ll autmotically get the phonics upgrade)
That pack will also be going up in price in September so if you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time to move!
OK, back to regular programming tomorrow!
Hey Richard,
Just downloaded the Phonics Pack. I’m 2 weeks from my grand opening and probably a year away from using it but I know I’ll get around to it eventually so I thought I’d get it now. Some problems opening it but If I double click ‘Start1’ then esc, I get to the song…esc again brings me to the menu so it’s all doable.
The thing I really want is the video version of the posters/flash cards (not in the download pack). I have the pdf posters and workbooks but would much prefer to throw them up on the TV. Why deal with printing them up when they look so cool on TV? We used them in the workshop last month so I know you have them. What are my chances of getting those???
Keep up the good work! We all appreciate it.
Hi Bob
I’ll check out the start issue.
At the workshop I just used posters PDF, just popped it up onscreen instead of printing it out!
But I guess I should also be working on a version with sounds maybe?
A version of the posters with sounds might be nice. For those of us not so confedent in our own phonics skills it would be nice.
I was trying to get one of the school’s computers to show the pdf in full screen, but it was difficult and it looked as if when put onto the tv screen it would be hard for the kids in the back to see it (well at least in classes of 30). Landscaped pages seem to work the best.
Still haven’t used them in class yet, but they seem very helpful.
Thanks
