Daily Routines: Little Red Riding Hood

This song has been such a hit with the kids this year, Β I haven’t even needed to “teach” it – they just pick it all up from the song!

So as a follow up to the Daily Routines for adultsΒ we also want kids to get the benefits from these “success mindsets” too. Β And what better way to do it than to incorporate another fairy tale character.

So today I present for you the Little Red Riding Hood Daily Routines mini cards!

Β little-red-riding-hood-mini

Ninja Tip: Β As always VIP members can download them above, Β and if you’re not a VIP member, just order your Teacher’s Set straight away and you will be a VIP too. πŸ™‚

And if you do find any of these routines offensive then of course please don’t teach them. Β (And please don’t send me hate mail either πŸ™‚ Β  I kept both yoga and meditation in there because the positive health benefits of both far can be hugely beneficial in so many schools.)

Of course once you’ve taught these power daily routines you can of course get the kids to come up with their own and do a presentation.

Ninja Tip: Β To help cure shyness, get them to present as another famous character, Β that way it’s not themselves talking, they are simply taking on the personality ofΒ that character. πŸ™‚

Self Development is the main aim of Genki English so it’s also great to compare and contrast different daily routines and seeing what the kids think is good or bad Β e.g. watching TV, Β not eating breakfast etc. etc.

When I’ve been testing this I haven’t even needed to teach any gestures, the kids came up with their own just from watching the video. Β  They particular love the meditation one πŸ™‚

Do let me know what you think in the commentsΒ ( it might help push me to finish off the software for you!)

Be genki,

Richard

P.S. Β There is more Little Red Riding Hood in the animal yoga poses!

P.P.S. Β Check out the 12 Genki Days of Christmas cards in that post too.

I like it very much, thanks Richard, but something doesn’t work. Words don’t match with the audio. I want to use it, how can I do?

  2. Richard Graham

Hi Francesca, glad you like it! And yes it’s just a demo of the song so far – but it’s so easy the kids pick it up straight away!

I love this song. I sometimes just listen to it as part of my playlist. Can’t wait for the software to be set.

  4. Trevor Lawless

Great song. Quite different to a lot of the others. I think it’s a perfect song for later in the curriculum.

Absolutely wonderful song! It will be great if it appears in the Teacher’s Set. Thank you Richard for the good things you propagate. Can’t even imagine what part of it can confuse other teachers. It’s one of the top songs for me and my students.

Super Genki song! I’d like to present it at the NY party with a group of girls! How can i download this song?

    Hi,
What an amazing Little Red Riding Hood video! The children LOVE it and they pick it up so quickly. The only comment that one child said is that Little Red Riding Hood has three or four fingers in some of pictures!!

  8. Nikki Eaton

I love this song. It’s exactly what I need. Please tell me when it’s going to be finished.
