eTwinning Post is up and very active!

Hello,

I just put up this year’s “eTwinning” post on Facebook ( where you can find other genki teachers to do projects with)

Hopefully you’ll find some great partner teachers to work with there!

Ninja Tip: Β With school holidays, time differences etc. Β then I usually find you have to contact around 10 teachers to get one that can work with you. Β So keep that in mind when you’re writing to each other!

And if you want some ideas on what you can actually do in these projects then check out this page here.

Ninja Tip 2: Β Make sure your students are using Genki English and are especially up on all the confidence, “trying again” etc. aspects of the curriculum, there’s nothing worse than doing a twinning when the kids have been using textbooks instead and are still at the crying when losing a game stage or aren’t making enough mistakes to get their communication point across!

And usual Genki Teachers rules apply, respect every one and be cool πŸ™‚

Enjoy

Be genki,

Richard

P.S. Β One more Ninja Tip, Β if you have your own school and are doing speaking first then one HUGE advertising boost is to say that the kids will spend time in class communicating with kids in other countries – the parents love this! Β  Β And it also helps if you aren’t sure how to fill all that class time when the kids have the homework program,Β  from around lesson 5 they can start the non-live video exchanges, which is pretty cool!
