I know I’m uploading too many Halloween ideas.

And I know this is far too advanced for beginner students ( check out the regular curriculum for that!)

But …. I’m so excited about this that I just had to upload it today!

The Skeleton’s Halloween Costume

Bones the skeleton loved Halloween, but this year he had a problem.Every year, he went to the Halloween party in a different costume, but this time, he wanted something special.“What costume should I wear?” Bones wondered.

Bones asked his friends for help. First, he asked Ghost. “What should I be for Halloween?”

Ghost smiled and said, “Why not be a ghost like me?”

Bones tried on a white sheet and floated around, but he didn’t feel right. “No, this isn’t for me,” Bones said.

Next, Bones asked Witch. “What should I be for Halloween?”

Witch laughed and said, “You could be a witch like me!”

Bones put on a big, pointy hat and held a broom, but it didn’t feel right either. “No, this isn’t the costume for me,” he said.

Finally, Bones asked Vampire. “What should I be for Halloween?”

Vampire grinned and said, “Be a vampire like me!”

Bones put on a cape and fake fangs, but it still didn’t feel right. “No, this isn’t the costume for me,” Bones said.

Bones was worried. The party was about to start, and he still didn’t have a costume!

Suddenly, he had an idea. “Wait! Why don’t I just go as myself—a skeleton!”

Bones smiled. He didn’t need a fancy costume after all. He grabbed a black suit to show off his bones and went to the party.

Everyone loved Bones’ look. “You’re the coolest skeleton here!” his friends said. Bones laughed and danced the night away.

“I guess being myself is the best costume of all!” Bones said with a grin.
