Top Tip to Take Away the Summer Heat!

If you’re sweltering away in the Summer Heat, here is my top tip to get everyone feeling super, super cool.

It is a theme to teach.

But which one….?

The Let’s build a Snowman lesson!

Yep, crazy I know, but just try it, those soothing blue hues just drop the temperature by a fair few degrees – you might even get a chill!

It’s all in theΒ psychology!

Be genki,

Richard

P.S. Β Or you could always wuss out and do the Ice Cream lesson, but it’s nowhere near as chilly! πŸ™‚

…or: Why not just got with the heat?!

I had my performance yesterday, in a gym, without air-conditioning , many fans and a fairly light breeze of Lake Biwa.
It was hot, and my helper suggested that most probably many parents will say: Performance for Christmas is better (=colder).

I did it the first time this time of year:
The kids were so much more relaxed (as on holiday), they had far more space than at our winter performances, it was bright, everyone was sweating and we finally could do some different teams we never would do around Christmas.
Also in the summer atmosphere it actually didn’t matter at all that it wasn’t super quiet. The circades were very noisy outside anyway, and for the kids it was a challenge to be louder than those insects.

Now I’m struggling with my video~ my card readers seem all broken, though I want to get things out there quickly. They were so cute.
