Well, just yesterday there was a report on TV of some model schools (public education!) in Osaka, using i pads. It was amazing to see :
for example the teacher gave a topic to the kids (2 japanese characters) to draw and write about. While the kids were doing so, the teacher could see everyones i-pad screen on a main screen at his desk, so from here he would notice who had problems (having a plain screen still) and it was very easy for him to help these students out!
The teachers were saying it saved so much time: they could “hand out” tests with one touch, and it would be corrected right away. The kids were all saying how much fun it was.
I hope we’ll get some Model schools here in Shiga as well!

First of all ,the Ted talk was really amazing. There are so many problems in education here in Greece,so many bored students and so many teachers with no imagination.Classes seem to be long lasting and all the students have to study many hours at home, usually with the opposite results. When it comes to us,the english teachers and our classes,it seems stupid (especially to parents)when we teach their children in a funny and amusing way. They believe that we should be more strict, give their child loads of homework because that’s the way.Learning and fun is only for preschoolers and not for students in primary or high school.Let’s change this attitude!!Learning and fun is for all!!!
