UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who joined the A.I. For Teachers Zoom Call – glad you all enjoyed it!
One of the blogs I used to do was a “cute cat English” learning site. It was very popular! ( The Good Cat, Bad Cat workbook came out of it)
So doing some examples for the “How Genki English teachers can use A.I.” zoom workshop I asked the AI to draw some cute cat flashcards for the Eat, Drink, Dance lesson.
There are a few examples here for eating, drinking, dancing, sleeping, reading, fishing and cooking & I’ve uploaded the full set to the VIP Facebook group for you to check out – what do you think?
Of course it’s not just graphics. You can also use the A.I. to save time in many other ways.
For example the Year’s Worth of Social Media Content that I uploaded for you last week in previous year’s has taken a team of 20 of us 90 minutes to make, but the A.I. gave better results in a fraction of the time!
Plus of course you can use the A.I. to write reading passages, summarize books, write emails to parents, English tests etc. etc.
Be genki,
Richard
P.S. Just in case you were thinking that A.I. can’t do human sounding writing yet, I asked it to give me a “compelling and humorous way to remove the objection that Genki English is too expensive” This is what it wrote:
“I know what you’re thinking, “Genki English? More like Genki Bank Account Drain-i!” But hold your horses, my friend. Sure, it may seem a little pricey at first, but let me put it to you this way – would you rather spend a little more now for a comprehensive, tested and proven curriculum that will have your students speaking English like a pro in no time? Or would you rather keep using that dusty old textbook and watching your students’ eyes glaze over in boredom? I thought so. Plus, think of all the money you’ll save on therapy sessions for dealing with unengaged and uninspired students. Trust me, Genki English is worth every penny – and then some!”
