Mark wrote in to ask for some flashcards for “Breakfast“, “Lunch” and “Dinner” ย (the latter to go with the Mr Wolf lesson!)
I just knocked up some quick demos here.
I’ve made a few changes and additions from everyone’s request and are there any other changes you’d like to see made?
Do let me know in the comments below!
Be genki,
Richard
It’s fun and educational (for little children)keep up the awesome work !!!
Love the cards! It would be great to see cards that represent the various countries you have worked with in GE (Thailand, Tanzania, Japan). Or maybe have something in the forum with links, it would be fun to use it as a cultural discussion…
Actually I’d love to have something like the imagination sheets or something from the different countries!
Hello
You could keep the fruit picture as an extra one and change the time to 3pm and call it snack time?
Fun and useful, thanks!!!
These look super, thanks.I do agree with Jacs about keeping the fruit photo but changing the time and title to snack time. That would be great.Alot of my students dont get the idea of alot of people in the UK have a snack at 3’oclock!
Thanks again for everything.
Great cards!!! I think it would be great to expand upon these cards and include get up/wake up, go to school, go to bed, have a bath, etc so you can do the “What time do you…” lesson or talk about daily schedules.
Or you could just use these cards and the time cards with the pink fish game?
Thanks everyone!
OK, just updated it to have a sandwich for lunch, fruit for afternoon snacks and a couple more cards for Stephen!

Keep the requests coming and do keep a very close eye on the blog this week for something really special! ๐
These cards are great! Thanks Richard!
May I make one small request? Could you reverse the sleep and go to school, so that they go to school at 8 and go to sleep at 9?
My first reason is that the clock on the school reads 8:00 and also 8:00 is a bit early to go to bed and can also be construed to mean ‘get up’.
If you decide not to change the cards, it would lead to a good discussion on when the students go to bed….
Can’t wait to see the “something really special”!
Done! 8 to, 9 to 8 ๐
Thanks! That was pretty fast! Awesome. Looking forward to this weeks special blog. No hints as to what it is? ๐
Thank you SO much for these,I will be usng them to introduce the ‘What time do you get up?’ in Hi friends 2.
The new flashcards are just perfect Richard. Thank you so much. Another reason GE is awesome.
Love them! And I know the kids will love them as well! Thanks as always!

WOW! Again some cards I have completely missed! These are great.
Great and useful! Thanks for sharing them.
Thanks Richard! Sorry for late comment! I really enjoyed the idea. It is an efficient method to attract the children’s attention and make them like the topic and learn it easily and quickly!
Great as always!
Genki English – for me the best thing ever!
After two years of joining in – I don’t have any place for other students!!!! Overcrowded!
Congratulations!
Thank you!
I hope you will come back to Italy soon
Kathy
Fantastic Kathy – so great to hear!!! And I’m sure I’ll be back someday! ๐
Brilliant, Richard! I would’ve put the snack at 4 (tea time?), but it’s all a matter of opinion. hehe
Thanks for a job well done!
