 I’d been searching for songs that would work with my ESL classes, but what I found in my searches were boring chants that all ended up sounding blah. When I found Genki English, I hit the jackpot!  My students and I love the songs! My student love coming to class and practicing their English skills with energizing songs that are fun to listen to and sing.  There is much to love about this program.

Now my time seems short, because there’s always something else to do, and the students don’t show any signs of boredom (which is new for me too). They laugh and play, and I see even my three and four year olds singing and making sentences on their own way, even though they have some trouble pronouncing words in their mother tongue. We’ve been having good fun.

I have recommended Genki English to other teachers, and would recommend it to anyone who asks.

When I started teaching 5 years ago, I was so encouraged to teach all I know the best way! I even created my own teaching methods. But I always felt that something is missing. I wanted my lessons to be fun, easy and joyful. I tried to pick the best from the internet resources , from books. But I understood that I didn’t have quite the qualifications to create a working method.  What I’ve done in the end was teaching with books, it was easier, more boring but not so stressful. I was always thinking about songs and games. This idea stuck in my mind and I even started to collect songs and games on different topics by myself.   Until I found Genki English!!!!

Another problem was discipline. For me it was so hard to keep attention of kids and to keep them interested all the time. It took so much time to prepare really interesting and fun lesson!

Now I’m so happy – I have a working method from a professional! I know how to discipline kids! I spend much less time on preparing for my lessons! I’m confident in results! Thank you!
