This is a memory game that is really useful when you want kids to remember all, not just some, of the vocab from today’s lesson!
1. Β Do today’s lesson as usual with the song.
2. Β Now hold up the pack of Β today’s flashcards.

3. Show each card in turn and the kids have to say the phrase from the card e.g. May I borrow your scissors?Β
4. Β Slowly keep going round the cards, Β but gradually getting faster and faster with the kids saying the phrases each time.
5. Β Then ……… stop.
6. Β You then say “Next is?” Β and the kids have to remember and then shout out what the next card is!
7. Β Keep going round and round getting faster and faster.
8. Β Next time you stop you either say “Next is?” or “Last one was?” Β and the kids have to say the right card!
It takes a lot of self discipline from the kids and is lots of fun when you mix up the “next” and “last” parts! π

These ebooks really are fabulous! My kids have become extra Genki since I’ve started using these games! There are so many available that we could do a different game at every class. Except the kids won’t let me because they beg for us to do the balloon game every single time!
