This is a memory game that is really useful when you want kids to remember all, not just some, of the vocab from today’s lesson!
1. Do today’s lesson as usual with the song.
2. Now hold up the pack of today’s flashcards.
3. Show each card in turn and the kids have to say the phrase from the card e.g. May I borrow your scissors?
4. Slowly keep going round the cards, but gradually getting faster and faster with the kids saying the phrases each time.
5. Then ……… stop.
6. You then say “Next is?” and the kids have to remember and then shout out what the next card is!
7. Keep going round and round getting faster and faster.
8. Next time you stop you either say “Next is?” or “Last one was?” and the kids have to say the right card!
It takes a lot of self discipline from the kids and is lots of fun when you mix up the “next” and “last” parts! 🙂

These ebooks really are fabulous! My kids have become extra Genki since I’ve started using these games! There are so many available that we could do a different game at every class. Except the kids won’t let me because they beg for us to do the balloon game every single time!
