Quite a few people have been asking me how to structure Genki English when you have one lesson per day.
Although most private school teachers do Genki English once or twice a week, it is quite common for pre-schools and kindergarten to do one, or sometimes even more, hours per week.
Quite a few teachers are also quite concerned that they will be going “too fast” through the curriculum.
Don’t worry, having kids learning quickly is what we want to do! ย ย ( I hate “schools” who forcibly slow down kids because the teachers can’t keep up!)
If you still feel yourself slightly concerned, then one Ninja Tip is to take Monday’s as your review day.
So you’ll do the regular lesson plan each day, ย which of course includes the “Secret Warm Ups” ย and then just take Monday as purely a review of the past week. ย Maybe run through the songs and then have some fun with the VIP games.
Nice, stress free AND you are going to get some seriously awesome results in a very short period of time.
Which is, of course, the sign of an amazing teacher ๐
Be genki,
Richard
