There are 8 Billion people in the world. You only need 100.

One of the interesting things that came up last week was a lot of teachers thinking that 100 students is an almost impossible feat. Β  They built it up in their head by overthinking everything they can’t do.

The correct way to start, of course, Β is to get out of your head by asking as many people as you can “I’m thinking of taking on more students, if you know anyone who’d be interested, please let them know.”

On Monday we had one teacher who got 50 students just doing that! Β  She’s going for the 100 now. Β Yeah! πŸ™‚

And when you look at the even bigger picture, there are nearly 8 billion people in the world.

The vast majority are desperate for great English lessons because the government system is doing such a terrible job of teaching them.

You are a way better teacher than 99% of the people who are teaching English out there!

So finding just 100, not 1,000 or 1 million, but just 100 out of 8,000,000,000 is a lot easier to think about.

The key then is to learn the skills so your students Β love to pay you what you are truly worthΒ and that gives you a job that is not only fulfilling, but financially way above most professions in your town whilst having more free time than almost any other teacher.

The teacher on Monday? Β  Her new goal is to reach 100 students & only teach 90 minutes a day! Β  I think she’ll make it πŸ™‚
