Gaz has just sent in this amazing World Cup Card Game. The rules are similar to “Top Trumps” or the Genki English Card Game (check out the animation instructions or the countries version too!) and it features all the 2010 World Cup countries.
Of course you can change the rules however you like, but statements you could use with the game are:
World Cup (WC) ranking
Fifa Ranking
Number of Appearances
Latest Win (shown in green)
Group (A to H)
Or you could even make them into questions for an entirely new game for older kids like “What is your World Cup ranking?” or “When was your latest win?”
VIP Members can Download the Game here.
There’s also another set of cards with just the country flags as well!
I’m sure you’ll love it, but what do you think?
Fantastic!
Excellent!
Brilliant!
Wow!
Beautiful!
最高!
Just GREAT!
Thank you!
Incredible! I won’t have chance now to try the game out on my groups but my daughter is begging for me to print them out then she can use them at her school in her class!
Wonderful. Thanks very much.
Great! Boy-groups will love it!
(Girls aren’t that into football here…)
And it’s pefect to teach numbers and how to say years.
I just love Gaz’ works. I used his worksheets and everything a lot. So I really want to say a big thank you for all that you are doing, Gaz. Without your works my lessons would be missing some great elements.
