Yes, I do actually write the Genki English songs :)

It’s always quite funny when some people find out I write the Genki English songs 🙂

That’s how the Genki English music works so well, as a teacher I see what needs teaching, then with my songwriter hat on I use all the techniques we have available from ads, TV & movies to get the English stuck in the kids’ heads 🙂

This one’s a movie trailer mess around on my last day in the UK studio, but it shows the same process I go through writing the Genki English songs. Notice how you can change and guide emotions just using the music – it’s a powerful tool when used right!
