This year’s Genki English calendar we’ve done something a little different, in that they now link in with the Genki English Homework.
The best thing is that there is now a score table each month, can you beat your best each month?
Getting kids addicted to homework, because it’s like a game, is a pretty cool thing.
I’ve put these up a little earlier this year so do let me know what you think in the comments!
Be genki,
Richard
P.S. I should be, touch wood, flying back from Africa as you read this. I’ll be back on email this week, but of course replies will be a little slow as I plow through the hundreds of emails I’ve had whilst I was away!
These are sooo cool. My kids will be addicted, no question! They are already going crazy for the ugly black and white sheets I made to register their homework and collect stickers and signs from parents, but this will be completely thrilling.
Thank you so much!
I like it, being involved in homework is great idea, just fun, not duty
Hi, I think those calendars are really genki. It’s a great idea to solve the problem of homework, I¡ll try them with my highschool students, then I let you know if they work. Bye , have a nice fly
Awesome idea. A lot of my parents ask about homework for kids, but I like how you do not limit the homework to just printed sheets, but rather words, games, and songs. Great way to encourage kids to use English when not in class. I guess all I have to do now is think of some thing to give the kids as an incentive if they do it every day for a month!!!
Richard this is absolutely FANTASTIC! You never
cease to surprise and delight me as a teacher.
Thank you so much for your creative work.
