For quite a while I’ve been recommending to do things like Baby Yoga or Baby Ballet etc. in the ninja tips for teaching 2 and 3 year olds.
And Margit came up with the fantastic idea of using English names with the kids’ yoga poses.
Now we haven’t quite figured out what to do with these (maybe a Genki English Kids Yoga song??) but seeing as it’s nearly Christmas I though we’d share them with you!

There is actually a show called Cosmic Kids (there are a lot of episodes on youtube). The presenters tell stories while teaching yoga at the same time. There are all kinds of stories including Star Wars and Harry Potter. I don’t know if kids enjoy the show, but it’s an interesting idea.

Brilliant idea! I was thinking about stories, too. You could have a boat with a flag, sailing to an island by the light of the moon. Not sure where the clown fits in (in the boat, perhaps :)), sailing from North Pole to South Pole with several places in between, meeting various animals. Just an idea. 🙂
I think to use it as a warm up (like the Disco warm up) !
It gives the kids some focus and concentration to start the lesson.
