As the sharp eyed amongst you may have noticed, there’s also a funky new School subjects &ย days “Uno” style game that you just have to get:
( As usual VIP members can just right click and select “save as” to download, ย and if you’re not a member yet, pick up a Download Pack (before the big price increase comes in September!) and you’ll be joining us too. )
Instructions on how to play are here: https://genkienglish.net/theonecardgame.htm
OK, any other themes you’d like to see linked together like this? ย They are a great way to start making sentences!
Thanks again and perfect timing (I’m teaching this now!)
I return to school 5th September – planning starts now – good timing!
Hi Richard,
Thank you very much for these cute, cute and artistic looking mini cards. Right now, I don’t have a solid idea how to play it wisely but don’t worry my kids will gonna share something on how to use it. If anyone out there who has already experienced using the said materials please let me know.
Great timing! Thanks!
Nena
HI Jocely,
I made this video a while ago; maybe this helps, in case you don’T know the rules for UNO; have a look:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEBdTS4GbHE
hope this helps; Margit
These cards look really cool when printed and are great fun to play.
Richard, a few corrections my students found:
the “Draw 2” cards for Science, PE, social studies, math, English have all a
“music draw 2” written on there.
The “Reverse”for social studies has written: P.E. reverse
Well, to be honest: It’s fine with me, and you don’t have to change them; for my students it was BIG fun to find these “mistakes”. Just thought to let you know as people who aren’t used to the game might be confused.
