Well that was a crazy day!

It’s amazing when you’ve not been to a city for ages just how many people you get to re-meet at these events. ย It’s was great talking to all of you and putting faces to many of you too!

I’m at the airport now, but I’ll try a list a few of what we did in that break neck 45 minutes:

Rules: the agreement

Vocal warm up

Needs analysis (Just for those of you outside Japan, this workshop was held in a high school and yes we still have to use chalk and chalkboards here. And no, *I* didn’t write “too sleapy” ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Shyness and how to cure it

A bit about why ย schools are like they are “Sit down, shut up”

Genki English way, Stand up “I can do it!”

Around the world with Genki English

Tanzania + India

How Genki English works with ย pronouns song

Genki Phonics

Better than the best

Wow, I think that was it! ย If I’ve missed anything then do feel free to ask in the comments and I’ll put the links up.

Hope you had a great day and maybe I should think about coming back for a full day workshop next year? ย Do let me know if the comments if you would!

P.S. Quite a few of you were also asking about theย Homework system and the overseas internships for older students.

Thanks for sharing your resources Richard! This is a good model for me as I try to write recap posts following a day’s lesson with my students.
