Well that was a crazy day!
It’s amazing when you’ve not been to a city for ages just how many people you get to re-meet at these events. It’s was great talking to all of you and putting faces to many of you too!
I’m at the airport now, but I’ll try a list a few of what we did in that break neck 45 minutes:
Needs analysis (Just for those of you outside Japan, this workshop was held in a high school and yes we still have to use chalk and chalkboards here. And no, *I* didn’t write “too sleapy” 🙂 )
A bit about why schools are like they are “Sit down, shut up”
Genki English way, Stand up “I can do it!”
Around the world with Genki English
How Genki English works with pronouns song
Wow, I think that was it! If I’ve missed anything then do feel free to ask in the comments and I’ll put the links up.
Hope you had a great day and maybe I should think about coming back for a full day workshop next year? Do let me know if the comments if you would!
P.S. Quite a few of you were also asking about the Homework system and the overseas internships for older students.
Thanks for sharing your resources Richard! This is a good model for me as I try to write recap posts following a day’s lesson with my students.
