Ableton Live 9 – the latest version of the software I use to write the Genki English songs – is out now!!!! Yeah!
Mind you they’re charging me $159 just for the update. (The software itself cost $799.)
So …. how much should I charge for the Genki English update I’ve got coming for you later this week? 🙂
Anyway, this means I’m probably going to be pulling an all nighter in the studio belting out some new tunes, so I might be a little sleepy slow on email replies tomorrow!

Yeah, Reaper’s been getting some great press. Problem is I’ve been using Live for years now so I’m too much into the work flow. I have to say though I’m totally loving the new version, certainly worth the upgrade price!
Live 9 is awesome. Been enjoying the convert harmony to midi option. Sure there are many songs you can cover! Good to learn you dabble in clips and warp markers, as well.
