New Game: Is it you Jack?No it’s me John!!!!

Rafa has just sent in this great game you can use to review any English, or to evaluate your kids without them knowing!

————————————————————–

This is a really fantastic game! I’m sure your students will Love it

1. Take one of the students to the front of class.

2. This student should stay looking at the board

3. The rest of the kids should stay sat down.

4. Take two balls and give them to students (at opposite sides of class).

5. When teacher says go, students pass the balls to each other (dont let them throw the balls its very messy!)

6. Then when the student at the front says stop (ask the student to scream!) …

7. … the two kids with the balls should stand up and start a conversation (how are you? I’m…,what do you do? I’m… What’s your favourite …? etc. etc.  )with funny voices( change their tone is hilarious!!!)

8. Then the student at the front should guess who is talking.

9. He /she stays there until he guesses their names correctly.

10.  If  correct  they switch positions.

11. In case  he/she  guesses both names right, the  students should do JANKEN to see who should go to the front.

Its very funny game and students love it!!!  They always want to play!! This game sounds silly but students can think ,talk and perform (which is the best!!!) in English. prepare yourself for huge laughs!!!!

The game worked fairly well for both 5th and 6th grade. I find keeping the student up the front till they get it right doesn`t work. Usually 2 attempts are enough, otherwise there`s the potential of tears.
The voice changing bit worked a treat though. I found putting a blindfold on the student up front ensured no cheating.
