Snowman song for February!

I always thought of the “Let’s build a Snowman” song for December, but judging by the news this morning for those of you in Europe,Β  it looks like February might be the best month for it!

So enjoy the snow, the “Let’s build a Snowman” song and of course the super operatic Winter Clothes song!

Keep warm!

Just a shame it’s such a warm winter here in japan!

It’s crazy isn’t it! It’s like April. If it wasn’t for the yen being so high I think I’d probably stay around this year.

We have lots of snow here again so the children at one school requested the song last week. It was a really popular song in December. They love making each other into snowmen. I suppose coming from the UK I always think of snow as a Christmas theme, but of course it will work well here for the next couple of months.

The snow ploughs were out at 4.30 am (rather loud when you are fast asleep!!) and we had to dig ourselves out of the driveway!! Oh well good for keeping fit! It sounds like it is very interesting in the UK. Schools closing and traffic chaos. Most of the children here thought it would be wonderful to have a day off but of course that very rarely happens in Austria!!

The world is going topsy-turvy isn’t it? Not too much snow here in North Germany, thank goodness, but I feel sad that Hamburg didn’t get its AlstervergnΓΌgen, just a little too short. It used to take place in winter on the frozen lake only but now is in summer.
