Takasaki City has just become the latest city to purchase Genki English Teacher’s Sets ( or rather the physical Japanese Superpacks) for all the schools in the city.
If you’re in Takasaki, welcome on board!
Do get in touch and let’s make the program super successful.
But in my school ……
If you’re not in Takasaki and want your school to adopt Genki English, the key is to keep on asking your head teacher and board of education to adopt it.
Most importantly make sure they can see the results you are getting with Genki English.
It often takes a while to get in place, but when large cities (or countries) buy the packs it is nearly always after requests from individual schools or teachers just like yourself.
Every city & prefecture has (large, although often hidden!) budgets for English teaching materials, and they have to spend them somewhere.
I’m sure you wouldn’t want to have to go back to boring old textbooks, so be sure to keep the Genki English pressure up!
Good luck,
Be genki,
Richard
P.S. Β If your town or city is thinking of purchasing Genki English with this year’s budget (i.e. before March 31st) Β make sure they get their orders in before March 13th. Β That’s the cut off date for ordering physical packs. Β From then on everything is digital downloads, just like the English version of the site. Β Β If they have questions they can call Mrs Abe in Japanese on 0898-48-0256. Β Very exciting!
Lucky teachers in Takasaki!
