This is a great game to go with the Animal Voices lessonΒ – thanks to the amazing teachers in Kiev!

1. Β Everyone sits in a circle with the mini cards in-between them.

2. The first person puts down their fist, places a card on top and says the animal and the voice.

3. Β The next person puts their fist on top and repeat from step 2.

4. Β Keep going until everyone’s hands are making the tower – or it collapses and falls!

Do share if you like it!

Then later you can play the same game with different cards (word cards; I, went, to, the, shop, cafe, home, my , friends, and, we, wanted, to, buy, eat, and, met, pizza, bus station, bus ticket, to, Bangkok, go…..etc) (hat, shoes, green, coat, blue, I, she, he, my friend, wears, is, wearing, and,…..etc) build sentences. When a group runs out of hands (like your teachers did) instead of collapseing the tower call for reinforcements from other groups. If you limit the number of cards correctly then you can avoid (boo, hiss, why deprive them of this motivation?!) students standing on chairs!
