You guys were right. Β It was a little too optimistic of me to try and get some more songs done this week. Β So I’m going to take the time off and really rest my eyes.
There’s still a ton of great stuff all over the website for you (try the random theme button for inspiration!), the forum is going great, the office staff will still be sending Teacher’s Packs & Student Packs out and of course the Download Pack is automated so you can even buy it on Christmas Day.
And next Christmas you will have some fantastic new seasonal songs!
Thank you so much for again for your amazing support this year, in the messages you’ve sent, the packages you’ve bought, the people you’ve told about Genki English and of course for all the children you’ve helped all over the world.
I wish you all a very, very Merry Christmas and an amazingly Genki 2010!
I’ll see you next year in the Genki English Decade Anniversary year!
Be genki,
Richard
Richard,
it must have been a hard decision to write this mail, but great you decided to take of the rest of year.
Please really do so. If you can, don’t only rest from using the PC, but rest your mind and body.
Now you’re feeling better I guess that you are not that “empty” anymore and you can hopefully enjoy a wonderful time.
Well, to be honest, it will be much easier for me too, to keep the computer off, when I know “we’re having a break”.
This year was a very special year . Privately there were many downs in the first half, and actually it is amazing that I still could continue doing good work at those times.
I could do so, thanks to you and everyone on the Forum and Blog. Because teaching English with GE includes everything; it’s a life attitude, it’s communication, it’s exchange, it’s love.
It’s really hard to express my deep gratitude to each and everyone.
Have a Merry , Merry Christmas and a great and happy New Year.
Richard, Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy !
Have a very Merry Christmas and see you in the new year!
I’m looking forward to saying “Happy Genki English Decade Anniversary year!” when you come back.
I appreciate all the support you gave me/us this year. Thank you!!
Wise decision Richard. IMHO that is. Thank YOU for the inspiration provided through the GE site. And the workshop.
As a side note, the Teachers of English in Austria (TEA) are holding a conference in Vienna 23-25th April, 2010. More information here:
http://www.tea4teachers.org/
They are calling for speakers. Would you be interested in returning to the Alpine Republic for this conference? π
Genki Christmas and happy new Year.
Get well ans take time for you and rest your eyes.
Hi Richard,
Glad to hear you’ve ‘seen’ sense at last! You really have to rest properly after such a major operation. It’ll be for everybody’s benefit in the end.
I’ve been unable to check in here for a week or so, so haven’t been able to comment on the various posts. But finally, I get the chance to sincerely wish you all the very best for the next decade and join the chorus of gratitude for all you’ve done for us teachers and our students over the past year.
Have a very Merry Christmas and Fantastic New Year!
Dear Richard,
It’s about time that you rest! thanks for making my job easier!
Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you all!
Nena
Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year Richard, you deserve it!!
Merry Christmas to Richard and all the people out there supporting Genki English and those teaching English!
So relieved am I to hear Richard’s going to take a good break at least for this winter holidays.
At the same time I hope everyone will be able to charge a good lot of energy to make it for Happy 2010!
Happy New Year Richard and everyone else! I’ve been without my computer for some time and haven’t been able to check the forum. It’s good to hear you’re feeling better, and hope you’ll have a long well-deserved peaceful and relaxing holiday!
Thanks for this year and see you in 2010,
sussie
