Top Teaching Ideas for Easter!

I hope you’re planning on spending Easter somewhere nice.

The topic of today’s post, what are your top teaching ideas for Easter?

Here are mine:

1.  Easter Egg Hunt Song & Lesson  – particularly the picture book is a big hit!

2. Chocolate Monster Game – my favourite!

3. Easter Spot the Difference game.

Mido’s Super Egg game and Happy Bunny Games are also really popular.

So, what are you top teaching ideas for Easter?  Do let us know in the comments!

P.S.  I’ve just re-written last week’s post on How to teach classes of different levels – hopefully it’s a bit easier to read now! 🙂

P.P.S.  Thanks to everyone on Skype yesterday – and sorry to everyone who couldn’t get on.  It was great and I’ve written a wrap up post on the forum, we’d love to see you over there! 🙂

Make the spot the difference really exciting:

I split the kids into two groups and tell them (with huge eyes) that I am going to show them one picture for ONLY 2 seconds. Each group a different one. Then I’ll change the pictures and show the other one again for only 2 seconds. (Lot’s of disbelieve and HEEEEEs)
And I of course tell them they have to see what they notice raise their hand and tell me in English.

I did this with my 6-8 classes and it was amazing to see the excitement in their eyes and especially the shy kids just raising their hand as a reaction, even forgetting that they usually never raise the hand.

Richard, it was sooooo great that I would love to ask you to create some more “spot the difference GE pics”. I’m using pictures a lot recently and it is amazing how well they work for in-and out put. But a “spot the difference” makes it all even much more exciting.
    POSSIBLE????
