Yukie wrote in to ask for some phonics minicards to play with the regular minicard games.

I used to always just print out the regular phonics posters and set the printer to have 16 per page which gave a really nice set of cards.  And as they also had the key words on there the students always got the pronunciation spot on.

As we’ve added more stories to the posters it’s become a little trick to do this, so I just made up a set for you already with 16 on one page.  I also included the first set of “funky words”  (i.e. the words that can’t be read using regular phonics)

Make sure you only hand out the ones the kids have studied so far (otherwise you’ll kill their reading motivation!) and have some fun playing all the regular mini card games!
