Chris just wrote in a fantastic reply to the latest discipline video:

During my self introductions,  I tell the students some things that I like (eg: food, sport, etc.) then finally, I take out a gadget, perform, amaze them and say, “I also like to do ‘magic‘!”
Here, I got their attention already.
When they ask for more, I say that IF we have time AFTER the lesson, I can do one more trick.
Lo and behold, they suddenly sit up straight showing me an attitude of ‘Okay, please start the lesson now…I promise to help you finish it quickly.’ Hahaha!  The MAGIC works!
That way, I am usually able to get the kind of attitude I want from the students.

So what if you don’t know any magic?

Well, seeing as it’s Christmas, I’ve got one here for you to go with the What would you like for Christmas? lesson

If you’re on a PC or Mac you can see the interactive version here:

Christmas MOnkey Magic

Then VIP members have the printable version (with instructions and A4 cards) so you can take all the credit when your students look amazed! 🙂

Ninja Tip:  Be sure to do the interactive version on your computer first so you can experience the full wow factor! 🙂

Enjoy!

Be genki,

Richard

P.S.  Want one more?  Mr Rabbit Magic also works wonders – great for a Christmas gift!

Maybe I am like a kid, but I played this myself for 10 minutes, just so amazed! Great game I can’t believe I hadn’t tried it before! Thanks!!
