Santa, what are you wearing? Christmas clothes lesson!

Hello,

OK, this song is brand new ( I just did it this afternoon after Fanitsa’s request!)  so I haven’t had chance to test it out yet!

(Remember, all the main Genki English lessons are fully tested to be 100% genki for kids!)

But give it a try and see how you go!

As always with Genki English we have a simple 3 step lesson plan:

  1.  Warm up & review ( 5 to 10 minutes)
  2.  Learn the new English by learning to sing the song.
  3. Practice speaking the English with a classroom game!

And the game to go with this is the Christmas Clothes Race!

  1. Set up some (100 yen/ dollar store) Santa outfits.
  2. Everyone asks “Santa, what are you wearing?”
  3. You shout out “I’m wearing boots” or “hat” or another item of clothing.
  4. The kids rush to the other side of the room and put on that item!
  5. Repeat from step 2.

You can even use other Christmas outfits to make it more fun!

Or if you want to try the English but without the Christmas element, try the Baby Monkey Winter Clothes Song!

Enjoy!

Be genki,

Richard

P.S.  There are more Genki Christmas lessons here & regular, non-Christmas lessons here!
