UPDATE: ย Thank you to everyone who came to these workshops – you were amazing! ย To see where I’ll be next, check out the workshop schedule page!
After the amazing success of the Europe tour – thank you everyone! – it’s now onto Asia!
We’re nearly at capacity for Tokyo and Nagoya, so if you want to attend, get in touch ASAPย – the last seats will be gone soon.
I’ll be doing different things in each city, so see which one is the best for you below!
Tokyo
Tons of new fantastic games, new songs, lesson plans, writing and new discipline techniques.
And as this is the 3rd year of these workshops I’ll be jumping straight into the activities and ideas.
So if you’re a beginner make sure you go through the Online Workshop Videos and Phonics Videos beforehand so you don’t end up completely lost!
Tokyo will also be the only one I’ll do bilingually in English and Japanese (and probably a touch more English than Japanese!)
Ninja Tip: If you’re flying in from overseas, try and make it to Tokyo Haneda airport rather than Narita if you can. ย (It’s much closer.)
Nagoya
Something very special for the Nagoya workshop this year, we’ll have a special guest presentation from Margit!
She’ll be giving you first hand secrets of how she has got such amazing results from theย Phonicsย programme, the USB Homework programme and how she gets waiting lists of parents wanting to join her school. ย You’ll be able to ask her questions throughout the day, ย and of course I’ll be doing some things too! ๐
Nagoya will be mostly in Japanese and the level will be moderate, so it’s a good idea to brush up on theย Online Workshop Videosย andย Phonics Videosย first.
Ninja Tip: ย If you own your own school you’ll want to be at this one!
Osaka
I haven’t done a proper workshop in Osaka for nearly ten years, ย so we’ll start right from the beginning going through all the key points of using Genki English to get awesome results in your teaching.
Lots of Q&A, lots of great ideas and fun. ย Mostly in Japanese, but you should be able to follow along!
Ninja Tip: ย This one is for the beginners, so be sure to bring along your co-teachers!
Shanghai
This one is still in the “Would you like a workshop in Shanghai?” phase, so if you would please do put up a comment on the blog and hopefully we might be able to work it out!
You do need a reservation to get into each of these workshops.
And as I say Tokyo & Nagoya will probably fill up over the next few days, so get in touch if you need a seat otherwise you won’t be able to get in on the day!
Prices etc. you can find on the workshop page here.
See you there – it’s going to be awesome!
Be genki,
Richard

I’m in Hangzhou! Shanghai would be cool. Hopefully I could make it with my busy schedule. It would be great for everyone at my school to go ๐ Maybe I can convince them to have a go.
