I forgot my … Stationery Game

Over on the VIP forum Margit just requested an “odd one out” set of minicards for the stationery theme.

It’s a great game for the beginning of the school year to get the kids into remembering what to bring for class!

VIP Members can download the cards here. If you’re not a VIP member yet, order your Teacher’s SetΒ – you know you want it –Β  and you’ll be a VIP too! πŸ™‚

1. Each child picks a card.

2. They figure out what is missing and say “I forgot my” plus the missing item.

3. Then they say “May I borrow your” plus the missing item again.

4. They get a point if they can say both sentences correctly!

Ninja Tip: Teach theΒ Summer Clothes songΒ first so the kids know the phrase “I forgot my ….”

What do you think? Β Do let us know in the comments!

Be genki,

Richard

P.S. Β There is also one “Perfect Student” card in the set. Β Can you find it? πŸ™‚

P.P.S. Β Don’t forget the classroom game in the software too!

P.P.P.S. Β  Whilst I always try and get requests done ASAP, Β VIP Forum ones usually get done the quickest, so do put them up there first! πŸ™‚

If you print out the mini cards from this topic (depending on the number of students two sets) you can give each student 3, 4 cards and one of the “what’s missing card”,
they have to walk around and borrow their missing item from someone.

whoever got his first is the winner.

Lot’s of talking and classroom English.
